The WA Government is delivering targeted funding to fast-track six game-changing healthcare solutions across metro and regional services. As part of the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund, a total of $3 million has been awarded under the Health System Solutions program to address system-level challenges raised by our State's own health service providers.

What It Means for WA
Each of these projects represents a tangible, local solution to current health pressures — improving outcomes, reducing delays, and unlocking smarter, more equitable healthcare. Importantly, they all leverage WA-based talent and partnerships.
According to Health Minister Meredith Hammat:
“Our health system continues to adapt and evolve, using technology and innovation to ensure our quality of care remains world-class.”
The FHRI Fund continues to be a powerful platform for advancing patient care, creating skilled jobs, and ensuring public investment delivers real returns for the people of Western Australia.
